Year 6 is a busy year dedicated to supporting and preparing pupils to work to the very best of their abilities.
Our Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl (2025-2026):
There are a number of opportunities to take on roles of responsibility around the school, including Head Boy and Head Girl, Reading Ambassadors, Maths Ambassadors, School Councillors, Eco-Warriors, Library Assistants, Play Leaders and School Prefects.
Prefects:
Year 6 children are taught to be prepared, organised and responsible, which plays an important part in getting ready for their transition to High School. Whilst Year 6 is hard work, at the end of the year we are all very proud of our achievements.
We are looking forward to an exciting and busy year ahead!
Year 6 PGL Residential
Year 6 end their journey at St John's with our annual residential trip to Winmarleigh Hall in Lancashire, which is surrounded by 50 acres of woodlands and gardens. Children experience a variety of thrilling activities which encouraged team building, confidence, self-esteem and motivation.
