The Summer Term ends with our annual residential trip to Winmarleigh Hall in Lancashire, which is surrounded by 50 acres of woodlands and gardens. Children experience a variety of thrilling activities which encourages team building and raises their self-confidence, self-esteem and motivation. During this trip many pupils and staff overcome their fear of heights. After the trip, Year 6 present an assembly for their families to attend, where they share campfire songs and photographs of their adventures and achievements!
Year 6 children are taught to be prepared, organised and responsible, which plays an important part in getting ready for their transition to High School. Whilst Year 6 is hard work, at the end of the year we are all very proud of our achievements.
We are looking forward to an exciting and busy year ahead!
