Year 1 have been on an exciting trip to Sudley House where we learned about toys from the past and got to make our own Victorian peg doll.
When we got back to school we had a surprise parcel from the Build-a-Bear Workshop- our very own new teddy bears!
Meet Buster (1C) and Joseph (1M) our new class bears.
Class 1M were delighted to receive a parcel containing a new found friend. We named him Joseph.
To raise money for CAFOD we took part in a ‘Santa Dash for Cash.’ We got dressed up in festive clothing and were sponsored to run 10 laps of the school playground.
Our Christmas activities included: our Nativity performance of ‘The Nativity!’, a Christmas party, a visit from Santa and a special Cinema morning where we watched ‘Monsters University’.
We love to dance!
We love making our Christmas puppets.
We dressed up as Mr and Mrs Holt and Victorian Maids and Butlers.
We went on a tour of Sudley House learning what it was like to live there in Victorian times.
We also got to make our very own Victorian Peg Dolls.
In PE this half term we have really enjoyed gymnastics with Miss Beaumont. Look at our fabulous balancing.
