Remote Learning

Remote/ Home learning

In this section of the website, you will find resources and websites that will support home learning for your child in the event of them needing to self-isolate. These home learning resources offer pupils a chance to continue learning at home and many of them have been purchased by school and recommended by the Department for Education. Teachers are able to monitor pupils’ performance and usage on some sites, and they will also set work.

Should your child's bubble at any point be required to isolate at home due to a confirmed positive case of Covid 19, your child's education will continue via remote learning. We will try to keep their home learning routine as close as reasonably possible to their school timetable.

Each morning, the class teacher will upload a timetable for the learning for that day. Your child will be expected to have logged on to the learning platform, Seesaw, by 10am at the latest and confirm to the teacher that they are logging on (this will also enable us to also keep a register).

The class teacher will also keep in touch via e-mail and telephone at various points to check how the children are doing and offer support to pupils, clarify any issues etc.
