Learning our timestables
At St John’s we recognise the importance of knowing our multiplication and division facts. This helps us in wider areas of Maths such as fractions.
We like to make learning our timestables fun and learn through lots of different group games in class as well as individual games. This helps us with instant recall and speed.
From Year 3 upwards, pupils should all have an individual target timestable to focus on which will be update once achieved. Ask your child their current target and here are some games they can play to help them learn.
