Vision
Our vision of Design Technology at St John’s is:
That all children will be taught to develop their creative, technical and practical expertise needed to perform everyday design and technology tasks, confidently and enthusiastically, to help them to participate successfully in an ever increasingly technological world.
That they will build and apply a repertoire of knowledge, understanding and skills in order to design and make high-quality prototypes and products for a wide range of users.
That they will be able to critique, evaluate and test their ideas and products and the work of others and that they children will understand and apply the principles of nutrition and learn how to cook a range of recipes using the correct tools safely and confidently.
At St John’s we strive to teach design and technology that will excite, enthuse and grow our children creatively with passion towards a bright future.
