Community Planting 2014
A group of our children took part in a Community Planting Project over the road from school in Sandheys Close / Archer Close. The children enjoyed an afternoon with Irene Poole from Local Neighbourhood Services who invited the children to take part. Together with local councillor Beatrice Fraenkel and the city gardeners the children planted some new raised flower beds in the newly established garden.
Watched and helped by local residents the children created what will flourish into a beautiful colourful garden.
The children really enjoyed the planting and will be going back to help maintain the garden.
