Liverpool Cup Final 2014

Out of 1100 pupils, from 200 football teams St John's Girl's Football Team reached the final of the Liverpool Cup at Anfield. The final took place on the day after the last premier league games of the season. Our girls had made it to the playoff for 3rd and 4th against Outrington.

At the end of the article is a link to even more photos.

First, a walk round Anfield.

No sign of any pre match nerves from the girls

The match ended 4-1 to Oughtrington. St John's girls came 4th out of 200 football teams, and 1100 pupils taking part. While there was disappointment at the nights result, 4th place was a marvellous achievement.

After the match was the presentation with Liverpool Legends, Alan Kennedy and Ronnie Moran presenting the awards.
