KS2 Average Scaled Score

The scaled score is the raw score the pupil achieves on their test paper ‘scaled’ to a score between 80-120. A score of at least 100 is the expected standard for a Year 6 pupil. Children who achieve a scaled score of 110+ are identified as achieving above the expected standard

Progress scores from KS1 to end of KS2

 

Progress in Reading, Writing, Maths are calculated as an average of pupils’ progress scores. These scores give an indication of whether, as a group, pupils have made above or below progress in a subject in comparison to pupils with similar starting points in other schools. The National Average is 0 so anything below 0 is below the National Average and anything above 0 is above National Average.

*Progress scores are not published for 2025/25 as there is no relevant KS1 data to compare to due to covid-19 disruption. Progress measures will resume from the end of 2025/26.
