Year 1 recently celebrated Roald Dahl's birthday and the 50th anniversary of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory being published. We read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Pupils designed different Wonka Bars and Oompa Lumpas in the "invention room" and lastly everyone took part in a Golden Ticket number hunt.
