Science

As part of our Animals including Humans topic, we learnt about the different parts of the digestive system and the role they have. We created this practically using household objects such as tights, orange juice, plastic bags and Weetabix. 

History

To introduce us to our topic about the Romans, we went on a trip to Chester and marched through the town as Roman Soldiers. We even got to try on some armour! 

Geography

As part of our geography topic, we learnt about how mountains are formed, what contour lines are and how to read them. We then used this knowledge to make mountains out of playdough. 

LFC Foundation

We were lucky enough to have 7 weeks of sessions with the LFC Foundation, playing different ball games. We learnt about how to use the space effectively on a pitch, how to quickly and accurately pass to teammates and built on our teamwork skills. 

DT

As part of our DT topic, we created electrical Christmas cards. We researched first, then designed and then made and evaluated our cards. They looked fantastic!

 

 

We have also made pasta salad in our DT lessons. We learnt how to cut safely, how to crush garlic and got to take our finished chicken pasta salad home to eat. Yummy!
