Walk to School Week

As part of our Healthy Schools Status children and parents have been celebrating International Walk to School Week.

Members of the School Council compiled a questionnaire for children recording how they travelled to school.

Parents and children were encouraged to walk for the week to promote the importance of daily exercise.

Wilson Homes kindly donated a light visibility vests and snap bands to our pupils to keep them safe on the road.

Data collected by the school council after the event have shown that more of our school community have continued to walk to school than use other modes of transport.
