Reflection Point 2

The reflection was based on The Good Samaritan and who we consider are our neighbours. The children were asked to think about helping people in need and why we should consider thinking about helping everyone we can and not just people who are our family or friends and people we like, just like The Good Samaritan.

The reflection closed with the children making a 'Love you Neighbour' kit consisting of a plaster to heal, a love heart to remind us we are people of love, string to remind us we are connected to each other through Baptism, an eraser to rub out people's  mistakes, a marble to remind us of inner strength, a lucky bean and a plastic coin reminding us to share good fortune with others and a star to show others that we have the light of Christ.
